Leanne Evertsen MVB MRCVS
Leanne Evertsen graduated with honours from the Veterinary College at University College Dublin in 2002. Since qualifying Leanne has specialised in small animal practice and has worked at a number of busy practices in both the UK and Ireland.
She has also worked in emergency out-of-hour hospitals in Dublin and Leeds, gaining a lot of medical and surgical experience. Leanne is currently studying for a Royal college awarded certificate in Opthalmology.
Although this qualification means her speciality would be eyes, she enjoys general practice so much that she would always want to do both.
Leanne has a Maine Coon cat called Merlin who thinks he's a dog rather than a cat.
Laura Tighe MVB
Originally from Ballina Co. Mayo, Laura graduated with honours from UCD in 2006.
Since qualifying she has worked in both small animal and equine practice in the UK and Australia before returning home in 2008 to join our team.
Laura enjoys keeping fit and travelling in her spare time. Laura's childhood pet was a lively springer spaniel called Spike.

Darina Nolan is entering her last year of study to become a qualified Veterinary Nurse in University College Dublin.
She successfully completed the first two years of this relatively new course, which is of block lecture and training format.
Veterinary Nursing involves a lot of different responsibilities from caring for inpatients to the monitoring of anaesthesia, preparation for surgery and post operation check up appointments.
Her particular interests lie in pet parasite control, dentistry and surgical nursing.
Darina has a Collie dog called Coco whom is not always on his best behaviour! She also has two yellow bellied terrapins who love shrimp for dinner.

Kathryn Molloy
Kathryn Molloy is a qualified veterinary nurse with futher qualifications in Agricultural Science.
She qualified as a Veteriary Nurse in 2007 from Athlone Institute of Technology.
Veterinary Nursing training in Athlone takes three years during which time Kathryn completed in-practice training modules and a thesis about antiobotic resistance in pets.
Her particular interests lie in pet nutrition and inpatient care. Kathryn has always had a love for animals and loves working with them on a day to day basis.
Aisling Niland
Aisling graduated as a Veterinary Nurse from UCD in 2007.
After qualifying Aisling worked in a mixed animal practice in Mayo for five years before joining us in Barna. She is delighted to be part of an exclusively small animal team and enjoys both animal and client interaction.
Aisling has been put in charge of our Moycullen branch and runs a tight ship.
Although she has a particular interest in behaviour she admits she has managed to spoil her rescue cat, Suzie.

Eileen Burbidge
Eileen Burbidge is a Registered Veterinary Nurse who trained in Salinas, California, graduating in 1988.
The college in California had a well-established Animal Health Technology programme which involved a combination of practical training, lectures and work experience.
She has worked in several different veterinary clinics along the California Coast. Eileen and her family returned to Ireland in 1999.
She has a particular interest in the care of rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and reptiles.
Eileen currently has 10 pets at home ranging from a wire-haired dachshund called Russell, to a hamster, Pancake
